Louise qualified as a solicitor in 2010 and specialised in family law, practicing in Birmingham. She assisted many clients to negotiate financial settlements and resolve the arrangements for their children.

 

Louise re-trained as a mediator to help families navigate the stressful process of family separation outside the Court remit. Louise provides clear information and guidance and encourages open and constructive discussions. She will support you to explore options and focus on the needs and priorities of your family.

Louise can guide you through the process of taking decisions on the financial aspects of your separation whether you are married/ in a civil partnership/ cohabiting. She is experienced in working through complexities which may arise in connection with business assets, pensions and foreign assets.

If you are worried about how your children may be affected by a separation, Louise can help you identify and address the factors which are likely to influence the well-being of your children both now and in future.  Louise can also provide guidance in working towards co-operative, co-parenting relationships. Louise encourages focus on the individual needs of each child of the family and their experiences. Louise will provide details on the Child Inclusive Mediation process which provides an opportunity for children to express their wishes and feelings, where appropriate and with the necessary consents from parents and children.

 

Louise is registered with the Family Mediation Council and a member of the Family Mediators Association.
